
INFARMADE RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM THE CDTI FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW THERAPIES AGAINST CHRONIC PULMONARY DISORDERS

Last July, the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and INFARMADE signed the contract relating to aid for the development of the Research and Development Project called “NEW THERAPIES AGAINST CHRONIC PULMONARY DISORDERS”. The general objective of this projectis the development of the first generic pharmaceutical specialties of drugs from the immunosuppressant group, based on the only active ingredient that has demonstrated clinical efficacy for the treatment and improvement of the evolution of chronic inflammatory lung diseases. Likewise, the resulting medicines will have cheaper prices than those used as a reference, which will allow both reducing costs for public health systems and expanding the number of patients who can access new cutting-edge drugs.
